Introduction
The Wanchangchun Canal is divided into three trunk lines: Erjie, Sijie, and Wujie. To secure a steady water supply, a new intake gate and weir were built in 1951, utilizing the reliable Kelin drainage spring. To safely transport the water to the original intake point, a reinforced concrete culvert was constructed beneath the Luodong River, spanning 615 meters. Completed in 1952, the project allowed the three trunk lines to extend straight to the coast, enabling ample and secure irrigation for farmlands within the irrigation district.
