Project Background
The Guting Intermediate Drainage is a tributary of the upstream section of the Shisangu Main Drainage, serving as an agricultural drainage channel. The masonry structure of the existing channel had deteriorated significantly, reducing its drainage efficiency. As a result, despite the proper functioning of the Shisangu Pumping Station, flooding in low-lying areas persisted.
Project Overview
In 2021, this office secured funding from the Ministry of Agriculture for improvement works, which were completed in January 2023. The revetment improvements spanned a total length of 1,243 meters.
