Approximately 75 hectares of farmland in Yongzhen Village, Meicheng Village, and Xinshe Village in Zhuangwei Township are located in low-lying areas and were subject to long-term flooding, which hindered rice cultivation.
Under the Flood-prone Areas Management Plan, this office actively secured central government funding to improve the Zhuangdong D-2-1 Intermediate Drainage and other secondary drainage systems. The project improved approximately 2,497 meters of drainage channels, reducing the risk to life and property, improving residential sanitation and living conditions, mitigating adverse conditions, increasing land utilization and value, and driving balanced regional development, ultimately improving the quality of life.
